Final meeting of Tempus CABRIOLET consortia partners jointly with Erasmus+ ALIOT project

The final joint meeting in the frame of Tempus CABRIOLET project took place in Coimbra University from October  2nd until October 6th, 2017. 

This meeting was combined with project meeting made in the frame of Eramus+ ALIOT project, which allowed to obtain the synergy of academy-industry cooperation in electronic and computer engineering and the Internet of Things.

The meetings were full of fruitful presentations of consortia members covering the final results of Tempus CABRIOLET and ongoing results of Eramus+ ALIOT projects developments.

Tempus CABRIOLET meetings & workshops in Stockholm and Naples on Innovation Ecosystems on Startups

During one week in 2016, April, 20-27th the participants of Tempus CABRIOLET had two study visits to KTH, Stockholm and  to Critiware and CINI companies in Naples.

The following issues were discussed: Energy platform: consolidating energy
research, Innovation ecosystem at KTH, EIT KIC INNOENERGY – educational programmes with the focus on innovation, KIC EIT DIGITAL – educating ICT.
innovators and entrepreneur, as well as how to involve young industry researchers into R&D and innovation , Tempus CABRIOLET project ongoing and management and others Tempus CABRIOLET project-related topics.

TEMPUS CABRIOLET & TEMPUS SEREIN Joint Winter School (WINT 2016)

In February 2016, from 6th till 12th, the International joint winter school WINT 2016 was organized by representatives of consortium of TEMPUS CABRIOLET and TEMPUS SEREIN. WINT 2016 School took place simultaneously in three cities of Ukraine: Kiev, Kharkiv Chernivtsi, Ternopil.

Participants from Ukraine, Estonia, India and USA gave lectures on presentations on broad topics on cybersecurity and cooperation between Academia and Industry. SmartMeUniversity company presented its experience in development of teaching courses on different IT-related topics.

The school was organized together by National Aerospace University named after N.E. Zhukovsky “KhAI”Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and Chernihiv National University of Technology.

School WINT 2016 aggregated several types of events:

  • Training on user interfaces usability based on user experience;
  • Training on eye-tracking in cybersecurity;
  • Safety and security issues (software and hardware) in joint projects in critical domains, cooperation in safety-critical certification Academia and Industry;
  • S2B, B2S (Science to Business, Business to Science) and  advancing of university-industry relationships and entrepreneurial activity;
  • Student startups;
  • Technical meetings in frame of TEMPUS CABRIOLET and TEMPUS SEREIN projects, reports of consortia teams on their progress, self-assessment, activities for further improvements.

Participants from TEMPUS SEREIN consortium presented developed teaching programmes for MSc and PhD students and Lifelong learning modules for developed staff in area of cyber security.
