TEMPUS CABRIOLET & TEMPUS GreenCo Joint Autumn School (JAS-2014)
During 5 days in September, 2014 from 7th till 11th consortia representatives of TEMPUS CABRIOLET and TEMPUS GREENCO projects organised the joint Autumn school, which was held in Odessa National Polytechnic University.
This type of meeting, joint schools for BSc, MSc and PhD students as well as young researchers, like “joint GREENCO-CABRIOLET autumn school (JAS-2014)” allows to build the bridge between different TEMPUS projects, to provide the link between green IT in Academia and Industry in the broader sense, to obtain the benefits from the synergy of two conceptions.
During JAS-2014, participants have had to develop new conceptions of synergy in IT with the use of brainstorming and further analysis. The ideas which were presented and discussed shows deep understanding of the cutting edge in IT and the importance of new synergetic developments in both Green IT and in searching of principal new schemes of collaboration between Academia and Business.
Students from National Aerospace University “KhAI”, Odessa National Polytechnic University, Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University, Chernihiv State Technological University presented their studies in green IT and how they could be used to merge Science and Business together.
