Tempus CABRIOLET Summer training school (STRAS 2014)
During 19th – 27th of July, 2014 representatives from Tempus CABRIOLET project consortia took part in Summer training school STRAS 2014 in Chernivtsi city, Ukraine.
STRAS 2014 was organised jointly by Chernivtsi National University and National Aerospace University n. a. N. E. Zhukovsky “KhAI” in cooperation with RPC Radiy, PC Artron, Companies SoftServe and Tenzor including media-partner Carte Blanche Magazine.
More than 30 people participated in STRAS 2014 (Professors, students, industry representatives, etc.).
The school was dedicated to the improvement of the efficiency of research and education
activities of universities in terms of coordination the activities and interaction with modern production as well as the development of about requirements for skills and features of adaptation of graduates in electronics and computer engineering in today’s production in Ukraine.
Tempus CABRIOLET partners from academia side presented their experience of collaboration with business and industry sector.
One of the most important training was dedicated to technology readiness assessment (TRA) of technologies and joint projects between academia and industry sectors in CABRIOLET. TRA training was organised during all days, starting with the development of TRA plan, going through TRA report and TRA maturation plan indicating the refinements of a particular technology to achieve the higher level of maturity and finishing with the presentation of final results of TRA implementation and next steps for technology maturation in universities’ working groups.
The school was finished with granting of certificates indicating successful completion of STRAS 2014 to a particular team
